Camellia Japonica – Sea Foam
Growing on average 10 to 12 feet tall and 6 to 8 feet wide Sea Foam is considered to be the most, elegant, beautiful, and vigorous of all white Camellia Japonica hybrids. This exquisite shrub produces an abundance of medium to large pure white, fully double, perfectly formed flowers with elegantly cupped petals late winter through spring. Flowers stand out against and are complemented by its evergreen, rich, glossy, large deep-green foliage.
With an upright to rounded growth habit the plant makes for a very strong tall hedge, a privacy screen, specimen, accent, or in mass plantings. It’s a great variety for Southern landscapes due to its heat and humidity tolerance.
Light Requirements: Full Sun to Part Shade
