Camelia Sasanqua – Yume
This exceptional upright, open, compact, and carefree evergreen shrub is actually a hybrid between a japonica and a sasanqua that bridges the winter gap and enables it to bloom profusely from November into February/March. Single 2.5 to 3 inch sweetly fragrant flowers with alternating light pink and white petals and yellow centers are produced contrasted by glossy oval dark leaves.
Somewhat smaller at maturity and reaching an approximate mature size of +6 by 6 ft it is great as an accent, hedge, or in mass plantings and makes a wonderful espalier. ‘
