Camellia Sasanqua – Asakura

Asakura Camellia is a tall, fast-growing, showy, long flowering evergreen shrub with an upright habit and glossy deep green evergreen leaves. The shrub produces large 4-5″ semi-double flowers that open white with a pink blush when unfurled. With bloom maturity the pink blush fades to a pure white.  Growing on average to around 10 to 12 ft tall, 6-8  ft. wide Asakura blooms from fall into winter and is useful as a Hedge, Screen, Espalier, Topiary, Specimen, Standard, or for use in Pots and Containers.

Light Requirements: Part Shade, Lightly shaded.
