Camellia Sasanqua – Reverend Ida
A seedling of ‘Shishi Gashira’ Reverend Ida’ is a spreading compact shrub that produces an abundance of semi-double 2.5-to-3-inch blooms of an intense dark reddish-pink that contrast beautifully with a patch of bright golden stamens. The bloom season starts at the end of October and can last 2-3 months! This broadleaf evergreen shrub grows to around 3 feet tall and 3 to 4 feet wide making it an excellent option for use in small spaces, groupings, home foundation plantings, in containers, or even as a Bonsai specimen. Attractive to bees and hummingbirds it contributes a glossy texture to the garden
