Camellia Sasanqua – Rose of Autumn

A seedling selection from an open pollinated seed on ‘Kanjiro’ Rose of Autumn blooms in the fall with large rose-pink semi-double flowers edged with wavy petals against a backdrop of evergreen glossy leaves. As these blooms open up they become more rose-like and turn more baby pink as the bloom ages. Its  rapid vigorous upright growth habit reaching 6-8 ft in height and 4 -6 ft wide in 10 years lends itself to hedging. Excellent as a specimen.
