Camellia Sasanqua – Setsugekka

Camellia Sasanqua – Setsugekka

Moderate growing and reaching 8 to 10 ft. tall and wide at maturity this mid-season fall through winter blooming shrub produces large, perfectly formed, semi-double, 3-4” white fragrant flowers with ruffled edges and a bright center of golden stamens.

The dense, semi-weeping graceful habit and glossy, dark green foliage are a perfect backdrop and contrast of color for the large flowers and create an exceptional evergreen foundation planting, as a screen, hedge or specimen as well as being an excellent option as an espalier. A lovely looking hardy shrub for year-round appeal and the flowers are fabulous for cutting.

Light Requirements: Full Sun to Part Shade.
