Vanilla Strawberry – Hydrangea Paniculata

Around midsummer, flower buds open into densely clustered white flowers with pinkish centers held on showy red stems. As they age, the large cone-shaped flower heads take on a deeper and richer reddish-pink blush and form continuously through the summer. It’s large size makes Vanilla Strawberry a fabulous back-of-the-border,  foundation and flowering hedge plant. Blooms on new growth.
