Camellia Japonica – Greensboro Red

The Greensboro Red Camellia is a wonderful evergreen shrub that can also be used as a small ornamental tree. Reaching an average height of 6 to 10 feet and width of 5 to 6 feet it is a compact shrub with an upright growing habit and dark green, oval-shaped, glossy leathery foliage. Beautiful large semi-double red flowers with prominent yellow stamens  are produced from late winter to early spring. The flowers are great for cutting. With multi-season interest, this shrub is a perfect accent,  foundation and/or focal point.
