Dwarf Hupps – Acer Palmatum
A choice outstanding easy to grow, and vigorous dwarf form of Acer palmatum forming a dense, compact, upright specimen with stout branches arranged almost sculpturally making it a perfect choice for bonsai. In spring, small peach-colored tiny dime sized new leaves are neatly stacked close to one another creating wonderful texture. The majority of the foliage changes to a green color by mid-summer with only the branch tips remaining quite colorful. An exceedingly difficult specimen to propagate due to the short distance between nodes.
