Crimson Queen – Acer Palmatum

The persistence of the deep purple of the foliage carried throughout the entire growing season is an outstanding feature of this Maple.  The multi-stemmed Crimson Queen is primarily valued in the landscape for its rounded and highly ornamental and graceful weeping form and recommended for use as an  accent, in rock and alpine Gardens or in general garden use. The purple foliage emerges crimson in spring turning outstanding shades of scarlet and orange in the fall.
