Sekimori – Acer Palmatum Dissectum
The Lace Leaf shape and deep green color set this dwarf Japanese Maple apart. It is known as much for the faint whitish dusting and attractive and distinct white striations on its delightful green bark as it is for its graceful perfectly structured growth habit. Unlike many dissectums, it is slightly more prostrate than pendulous. The fall to winter color is usually a lovely bright yellow-gold but in more sun may have orange tones mixed through the leaves. Some believe this tree features one of the best yellow to golden fall color bursts of any dissectum. Excellent option for sheltered courtyard’s, small gardens, and containers.
