Garnet – Acer Palmatum Laceleaf
Noted for its wonderful color and vigor Garnet is a medium sized Maple featuring a pendulous, spreading habit with large, deeply cut, and dissected leaves. Small purple flowers emerge in spring giving way to red fruits. Delicate spring foliage emerges a red orange color (similar to the garnet gemstone) holding its lovely color into summer before turning red in the fall.
